Sharing another painting from my " Indian Village " series. Here in this composition I have depicted the strong presence of the afternoon sunlight. The atmosphere is clean and clear. The distant hills are clearly visible.

Sharing another painting from my " Indian Village" series. This is a composition where you will enjoy the dramatic play of light. When I visited Jhalong , in Jalpaiguri district,West Bengal,( in the year 2012)  I was really enthralled by the beauty of the place. Earlier I had  posted many paintings based on this place. Now this is another composition based on the same beautiful place .

Beauty of Indian river in watercolor, river Hatania -Doania ,Namkhana, near Bakkhali

Sharing another painting from my "Indian River " series. Here you can see the scene of the river " Hatania -Doania in 24 Paraganas (South) , West Bengal. Last year I had to cross the river while visiting Bakkhali for one day trip. I was enthralled by the beauty of the river. The river is not so wide. But the river remains very busy all day long. The colourful trawlers ,fishing and passenger vessels,ships,barges are the added attraction for me to paint. Here I have painted a passenger vessel waiting for the signal to leave for the other destination.

Happy to share another watercolor painting from "Indian Village " series . The peaceful and simple living of the villagers always attract me to paint. Here in this work I have painted  a village scene of  Himalayan foothills. Strong play of light grabbed  my attention immediately . The wooden houses and the people added more beauty to this composition.Very happy with final outcome.

Sharing another painting from my "Indian Villages " series. Now I will share in my upcoming posts the  works I have made and will make in the year 2017 . Indian village scenes are always a continuous encouragement for me to paint ,draw and sketch. Here in this work I have portrayed a late  afternoon scene. People are taking rest just after the hard work in the agricultural field. Some people  are chatting . Some are trying to finish the  unfinished household jobs. Some are taking a short nap in their beautiful village huts.
