On the way to Bandel Church from Hooghly Imambara, I noticed this beautiful old structure.  Instantly I took some snaps . Afterwards I completed this work in my studio.
Chinsurah is a Historical Dutch Colonial town, so lots of Dutch memories are still prevailing in  the city, specially beside the bank of river Ganges.

Watercolour painting on paper

Kolkata's Gariahat Crossing is one my favourite  hang around zone in the city. I always get some new motivations for my creative journey while visiting  in and around Gariahat. Here in this work I have used a ball point to draw the whole composition. Afterwards I have applied watercolours . As the paper is not a handmade paper so I have to remain careful while applying the colours on this paper.

Completed this work last week. Happy to share this work with you all. Thanks to God. Hot summer is replaced by Monsoon. Now most of the time the sky remains overcast with clouds. Rainfall was not satisfactory last month. Hope more rain will occur in the month of July and August.
