This is one of my favourite work. I painted here a busy market scene of Central  Kolkata. I have used a fountain pen to draw the basic sketch. Then I have applied watercolour .

City on Go

watercolour  art on paper (11" x 7.5")

Here I have painted a busy city day near Shyambazar, Kolkata (North). The flavour of monsoon can be felt in this work. Streets are wet for sudden rain. Autos and other passenger transports are busy with their passengers.

Darjeeling recalls

" Darjeeling recalls"

watercolour painting on paper (11 x 7.5")

Darjeeling is always one of my most favourite place to visit and will be. I always love to paint ,draw and sketch the beautiful wooden houses scattered over this Himalayan foothill. Here in this painting I have done exactly what I have intended to do.

New flat brushes just arrived today

Happy to receive my new painting brushes from my local art dealer ( ordered last week.). They are working very fine . The handle of these brushes are well designed.
